NEW
CUSTOMERS:
New customers must fill out and submit a registration form. You will then
be e-mailed your account number and password. To establish credit three
trade references must be provided to Fairlane Products for review.
CARBIDE:
High impact wear grade Tungsten carbide.
DELRIN (Acetal):
A thermoplastic material with high strength properties, low coefficient
of friction and very resistant to chemicals and absorbtion.
H/T:
Refers to heat-treated steel.
M-2 STEEL – HSS RC 60/62:
The grade of high speed tool steel used for all “HS” products
hardened to Rc 60/62
SERRATED/ TOOTH PATTERN:
The spacing between each gripper’s tooth (known as the pitch) is
available in 1/16, 3/32, 1/8 and 3/16. Additional gripper variations include
a straight or diamond serration style of teeth.
DUROMETER – WHAT IS IT? SHORE ‘A’ SCALE:
Durometer is the stiffness measure of an elastomer material.
20 durometer comparable to a very stiff foam.
35 durometer comparable to a pencil eraser.
60 durometer comparable to a car tire.
80 durometer comparable to an in line skate wheel.
95 durometer comparable to a plastic.
BRAKE ROLL:
A Brake Roll is fitted with a one direction bearing allowing it to free
wheel only in one direction. It may be disassembled to reverse directional
control.
HOW TO DETERMINE LEFT OR RIGHT FOR A BRAKE ROLL:
With the stud held stationary and face up, the roller will free wheel
clockwise for right and counter clockwise for left.
ROLLER INSERTS:
All “inserts” in rollers and bumpers are manufactured from
low-carbon mild steel unless indicated otherwise.
LOAD RATING ON ROLLERS:
Load rating on rollers are listed on the tech sheet for each roller with
bearings.

Most orders received by mid-day ship the same day.
A variety of shipping methods and carriers are available.
No additional charge for drop shipments.
ORDER
MINIMUM:
Orders on open account: $75.00 net minimum in USA, $100.00 net minimum
for international orders.
ORDERS ON CREDIT CARDS:
No minimum order requirement, but orders under $75.00 will be charged
an additional handling fee of $7.50 plus applicable shipping charges.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Fairlane Products, Inc. has been doing business since 1975, delivering
an extensive product line of workholding and material handling products.
Yet if for any reason you receive a product that does not perform as expected,
let us know. We’ll quickly provide you with an exchange or refund
according to our return policies.
TERMS AND BILLING:
Fairlane Products payment terms are net 30 days on approved open account
from date of invoice. In addition to open accounts, we accept C.O.D. and
most major credit and procurement cards.
RETURNS AND REPAIRS:
To process your request as efficiently as possible, please read our return
policy.
Please

Returns will not be accepted unless accompanied by this number.
Always
include a copy of your invoice or packing slip.
Claims
for discrepancies in shipment must be made within 5 days of receipt of
merchandise or the return will not be accepted.
Materials
returned after 30 days from date of shipment will not be accepted.
C.O.D.
returns will not be accepted.
Altered
or etched items will not be accepted.
Customers
should check orders upon arrival. All damages must be noted on delivery
receipt. Shortages and damages must be called into Fairlane Products,
1-800-548-2935 or 1-586-294-6100.
